The Waiting Begins

Finally! We just received the health insurance proof we have been waiting for. The last piece of the Visa application puzzle. Wayne ran to the bank for the 2 bank checks needed for application fees of $105.29 each. Then, I double-checked every piece of the application and neatly packaged it all. Wayne just sent it off via FedEx over-night to the Portuguese Consulate in Washington D.C.. It is now out-of-our-hands. Now, we sit and wait to hear if any of the dozen or so different pieces are screwed up or need to be clarified. We are both nervous and excited.
