Enjoy the time-lapse video above that condenses two and a half hours of hard labor into about 55 seconds.

We were told to expect the trucker to collect our crates anytime between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm.  We were up way early and had to wait for enough daylight on this very cold and overcast day. We started this two and a half hour process of building our crates at 8:00 under threatening skies. Our greatest fear was that it would start pouring rain and the outer & inner boxes would get soaked – and stay that way for three to six months. We have had such a ridiculous amount of rain with the year ending 18+ inches over normal.

Luck was with us yet again. We finished about 10:30. The trucker arrived around 1:30. There were a couple heart-stopping moments as he raised them, teetering, on the lift gate. Obviously, if 900 plus pounds starts to tip, there ain’t no one stopping it.  But, the driver knew what he was doing and got them safely into the trailer and headed for the port of Charleston. It didn’t start raining until hours later. We received notice just 24 hours later that they were safely in the warehouse there. Whew!
