After a solid ten days of both being sick and miserable, we finally felt well enough to get out and timed it to match a couple days of unseasonably pleasant weather. Both Friday and Saturday were lovely.

We were disappointed to lose the apartment we wanted to buy. It’s a long story but it boils down to the seller being a jerk who was looking for money under the table. Our agent’s office will be taking action against him. So, we are starting the search anew. We gotta believe that everything happens for a reason.

Our shipment of household goods is due to arrive in Rotterdam on the 31st. It would be nice if we could find a place soon and not have to pay storage for an extended period of time. Our week was topped off Saturday night with a very educational and fun wine tasting event courtesy of Julia’s Xmas gift to us. It was wonderful!

I know there is much Winter yet to come, but it was nice to see a couple harbingers of Spring.
Wayne decided to toss a paper airplane from the 10th floor. Keeping one foot inside, of course.

Below is a slide show of random images of Porto from this week.
