We knew this would be an exhausting week with the move to our new apartment at the end of the week. So, we took advantage of the great weather Monday & Tuesday to have some relaxation time.

Monday we road the regional train 15 minutes south to the beach town of Miramar. It’s a gorgeous beach in a tiny town that is especially photogenic because of the darling chapel (Senhor da Pedra) in the sand. Voted the 10th most beautiful beach in Europe out of 280 considered. I took lots of photos. But, we will return another time to photograph again. This time we left a bit early and missed the best part of the sunset. I’d want to come back on a day when high tide is at sunset time.

Tuesday we went to Foz do Douro again to meet our real estate agent. We met her (Fabiola) and her husband (Rafael) at a cute seaside bar. They wanted to discuss their ideas for growing her real estate business by targeting English-speaking people moving to northern Portugal. We talked a lot about websites, Google ads, and Facebook. We think she’ll be quite successful serving this niche. She certainly has done a great job for us. As long as we were there, we stayed to see the gorgeous sunset with container ships on the horizon. Fabulous!

I guess it's not enough to just sing. You need a hook.
