I just realized that I have not posted anything in five  months. Ooops. Much of that time was unfortunately tied up making use of the excellent healthcare system in Portugal. It seems that when you get to be our age, some parts need to be replaced.

Still we found time to visit family in the States, do a great road trip around southern Portugal and the western edge of southern Spain, and a quick (and very cold) trip to Brighton, England to see a starling murmuration. Then, a couple weeks ago, we did a short city break in Valencia, Spain.
