After a quiet winter in Porto, we were ready to travel again. We have many trips planned for 2024. We kicked it off with a special trip to celebrate a big anniversary. We took three weeks and visited five Greek islands plus Athens. It was all we hoped for and more.

We were on Milos for Greek Orthodox Easter. One of the very old traditions there is for these two neighboring villages to throw extremely loud explosives (harmlessly) at each other across an open field until a winner is declared. Unusual, for sure.
